In two sentences
Loguetown does not sell any data, display advertising or use advertising cookies. Access to trips is restricted to participants, with the sharing exceptions you enable and the technical processing described below.
Who is responsible
Lumileo, SASU (a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company), RCS Nîmes 100 818 699, is the data controller. For any questions about your data, email kamal@sparkana.fr.
What is collected, and why
Your email address
To sign you in. The default sign-in method is a magic link. The mobile app also lets accounts that already have a password sign in with it, through Supabase. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Your display name
So your friends recognise you in a trip. You choose it; it is not your legal identity. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Your trip content
Meals, shopping lists, expenses, photos and games. Visible only to participants in the relevant trip. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
A name for the evening, for games
When you join a game room without an account, a temporary account is created without an email address. The name you enter stays in the room and disappears with it. The account is automatically deleted if it is never linked to an email address.
Usage statistics
Pages viewed and counters, to understand what people use. Never your email address, name, an amount, a trip name or a sharing link: URLs are redacted before they are sent. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
No advertising cookies or tracking
Loguetown does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for targeting. Usage analytics stores an identifier in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and screen recording is disabled.
Who else sees your data
Only the technical providers needed to run the service. None is allowed to use your data for its own purposes.
| Provider | Role | Data | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Accounts, database and photo storage | Email address, display name, trip content and photos | European Union (Ireland) |
| Vercel | Website hosting and technical logs | IP address, user agent and pages viewed | United States, standard contractual clauses |
| Resend | Sign-in emails | Email address | United States, standard contractual clauses |
| PostHog | Usage analytics | Account identifier, pages viewed and counters. Never email addresses, names, amounts or sharing codes. | European Union |
| Anthropic | Shopping list and drinks generation | Menus, group size and breakdown of adults, children and babies, trip name, destination and dates. For drinks: choices, categories, quantities and the intended atmosphere. Free-text fields entered for these purposes are sent to Anthropic. | United States, standard contractual clauses |
| Mapbox | Destination suggestions as you type | Text entered in the destination field | United States, standard contractual clauses |
| OpenWeather | Destination weather | Destination coordinates, never your location | United Kingdom, adequacy decision |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Email address and amount. Payment details are entered with Stripe and never pass through Loguetown. | Ireland |
Your account, trips and photos are stored in the European Union, in Ireland. Providers in the United States only process the data listed above, under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
- Your account and trips: for as long as you keep them. You can delete your account at any time.
- Game rooms: closed after a few hours of inactivity, then deleted the following day.
- Temporary accounts created for games: deleted after thirty days if they are not linked to an email address.
- Usage statistics: kept in aggregate form, with no way to trace them back to your trip content.
- Payment records: kept for the period required by accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction, deletion or portability, or object to its processing. One address for all requests: kamal@sparkana.fr. You will receive a response within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, or file a complaint at cnil.fr.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app under “My account”, with immediate effect. This deletes your account, email address, photos and trips where you are the only member.
A trip you share with others is not deleted: it is transferred to another participant, so your friends’ weekend does not disappear with your account.
Expenses you paid remain visible to those people, without your name, so their balances stay accurate. You can also email kamal@sparkana.fr if you would prefer us to handle it.
